About The Program
Crowned Beyond Borders is an international/states based webinar series that highlights natural hair activism occurring globally and within the United States. Through virtual conversations featuring stylists, artists, educators, and community organizers from across continents, Crowned Beyond Borders aims to create space for cross-cultural learning, shared reflection, and connection rooted in pride, power, and beauty in order to explore how natural hair is celebrated, policed, and reclaimed around the world. Furthermore, each series contributes to a growing digital map that documents and celebrates natural hair activism across the world.
