About The Program
Crowned Futures is a cohort program that examines how natural hair is treated and represented across different professional fields (ex: education, law, athletics, the arts, etc). Through group sessions, participants are exposed to different career fields and engage in guided lessons, reflections, and conversations centered on this topic. The program culminates in a Pop-Up Poster Showcase, where participants present a visual poster project that connects an idea explored in the curriculum to their professional interests and future career goals. (Ages 16-22)
