Initiative
The "All About Loving Our Crowns" is a traveling, community-based initiative designed to meet people where they are. Rather than operating from a single location, the initiative partners with schools, after-school programs, community centers, cultural hubs, and other shared spaces to bring affirming hair-centered workshops directly into existing community environments.
At heart, The "All About Loving Our Crowns" Initiative is about affirmation, care, and joy. Through interactive workshops, creative activities, and guided conversations, participants are invited to reflect on their relationship with their hair, share stories, and engage in interactive activities rooted in self-love and cultural pride. Each session creates an affirming, low-pressure space where Black hair is nurtured, celebrated, and held with care.
